FAQ
Why do I need a Notysing account?
You can try Notysing out without an account, but to save your progress and use Notysing on different devices you need to create a Notysing account.
Your account stores your lesson progress and any upgrades and purchases.

Notysing isn’t making any sound?
- Start by checking your device volume.
- If your device has a physical mute/silent switch, sometimes Notysing can’t play sound if the device is set to silent.
- If you are using a Bluetooth headset, try disconnecting it and see if the app makes sound. Reconnect the headset and restart the app.
- Incoming calls and other audio alerts can disrupt audio playback and recording. Switching out of the app and back into it can fix it, otherwise killing the app and restarting should fix the issue.

Notysing can’t recognize my singing?
Notysing not picking up your notes or giving you incorrect results can depend on a couple of things.
- Background noise like talking or humming from machines can be picked up as notes, giving you incorrect results. Try going somewhere more quiet.
- If your singing is too quiet, the app can’t evaluate correctly. Try singing louder, moving closer to the device, or try using a headset with a microphone.
- If you are repeatedly getting the message “Unable to process your recording” there might be an issue with the recording. Try restarting the app.

How accurate is the Notysing pitch detection?
Notysing is set to accept deviations in pitch common for non-professional singers. This means that in some exercises you can be almost a semitone off and still pass.
However, the more accurate your pitch is, the higher the score.
